I am standing to be a candidate in the wonderful Crystal Palace & Upper Norwood ward not for personal gain or kudos, not for political aspirations, but from a strong desire to make a real difference to the community.

For 11 years I was on the committee of the local Marie Curie Charity and then for 4 years I was Chairman of the RSPCA in South London

I designed and still run the websites for our church on Westow Street and a local Labour Party

Now my focus is on helping residents, community groups & businesses to deal with their issues, champion their ideas and alleviate their concerns.

Recently I have many dozens of fly-tips removed, have secured funding for the paths of Upper Norwood Rec to be repaired, started a big campaign to get Croydon Council to clean up & maintain Beulah Hill Pond and another to clear the horrid fly-tip behind Victory Place off the Triangle.

I have also helped multiple residents have issues fixed in their homes & on their streets.

After a long career in finance & payments, plus expertise in charity & institution governance, I am now semi-retired and ready to bring my business acumen and expert organisational skills to give back to a community I love.

I am here to serve you, not inflate my ego or impress my friends.
