Now working as a Sign Language Interpreter, Sammi is passionate about building an inclusive community that is welcoming for all, and she is particularly committed to improving SEND provision so that every child is given the opportunity to thrive. Having grown up in West Ewell herself, she understands the everyday issues that matter to local residents and actually cares about finding solutions. Sammi is motivated by a desire to show her children that fairness, sensibility and collaborative leadership can achieve real progress. When she's not working, you'll often find Sammi and her husband at Bourne Hall, keeping up with their two children and enjoying time together as a family.
