I have lived within the Great Yarmouth Borough all my adult life, born from a military family and been a public servant in Norfolk for 30 years.

I joined Norfolk Constabulary as a Police Constable in 1990 my initial posting was Great Yarmouth and within those early years moved around the Borough covering Gorleston, the southern Villages of Belton to Fritton and later the northern side of the Borough of Caister to Martham.

I returned some years later as a Sergeant leading a team covering the same areas. My role was focussed on frontline policing and everything that comes along with serving the community. Later years took me working at various departments within Norfolk Headquarters including seconded to working on a Business Support Review identifying efficiency savings throughout all supporting police functions while improving productivity. I was also attached for 25 of these years to the Firearms Response team and Royalty Protection Unit being a Close Protection Officer in the county for the Royal Family and protected politicians.

My focus now is to represent Great Yarmouth First drawing on my
experience to deliver improved services, striving for efficiency and value for money to the residents of Great Yarmouth.
