Dylan grew up in Hackney, living in council housing and raised by a single mother.

His view of politics reflects the passion and cynicism of many young Londoners. He has experienced everyday challenges like insufficient housing and an education system that fails to deliver equal opportunities to everyone. Dylan was surprised to learn he could walk into Town Hall and watch a committee meeting. When he did, he was warmly greeted by a Green Councillor; his political engagement blossomed from there.

Dylan says, “I want people like me to see they can lead. I want young people to have someone in Town Hall who they can come talk to.”
