Martin wants to apply these values locally to ensure that the community thrives. In a statement Martin said "Let's protect our traditional values and heritage, making Narborough and Whetstone places where all of our families can be proud to live and work"

Martin added that "local councils should work for the residents who fund them" and also stated that "I am standing because, like many people in Narborough and Whetstone, I am dismayed by the rising costs and declining basic services provided by the county council".

Martin understands the local issues and is ready to address them directly. With local flooding a primary concern, his background as a builder equips him to develop and present practical plans to tackle the problem. Some of the other local issues, Martin also wants to protect green spaces, support local youth projects and day centres for older people. Also he wants to tackle traffic delays in the area, and support farmland for food, not solar panels.

Martin is convinced that "we can do better", and would value the chance to work on your behalf. Martin will stand up for local residents, and will ensure that people have a voice.
