Narborough, Whetstone and Littlethorpe are wonderful places to live, but residents know that our area faces increasing pressures - from road congestion and potholes to flooding concerns, new development and the challenge of protecting local services.

I am standing in this by-election because I believe our community deserves a councillor who will listen to residents, stand up for local priorities and work hard to deliver practical solutions.

I have lived and worked professionally in the local area for many years and have strong personal ties to Narborough, Littlethorpe and Whetstone. My family and I live locally and I support ageing relatives in the area, which means the future of our community matters deeply to me.

My professional background as a consultant has focused on solving problems and delivering results. I have also served locally as a volunteer for the community, a parish councillor and school governor, giving me valuable experience of how local government works and how important strong representation is for local communities.

County councillors make important decisions about roads, flood management, education, social care and local services - decisions that affect every household in our villages.

If elected, I will focus on three key priorities that residents consistently raise.

1. Safer Roads and Better Infrastructure

3. Protecting Local Services and Supporting Our Community
