I am a disabled, black, gay refugee who has been homeless twice.

I understand poverty, discrimination and the effects of failed policy. I have dedicated the last decade to working for charities and want the opportunity to help more people in bigger ways.
I have lived in Coventry for 13 years. Our multi-cultural city is a shining example of how acceptance and tolerance make the world a better place. Our people are kind, hardworking, and resilient, and we look out for each other.
I want to make our neighbourhoods safer and homes more livable. While also supporting local businesses. This involves providing equal access to resources and opportunity and supporting those amongst us who need a bit more help to thrive in society. I also want to protect our children from the influence of gangs and crime.
