Like most people I used to find myself following the herd and backing Labour, but I’ve seen too many families in our communities too scared to leave their homes and too many children getting hurt on our streets. As a foster carer I couldn’t stand by any longer, so I joined Reform UK to protect our children and families from unnecessary harm and to fight for the safer neighbourhoods we all deserve.
Whilst I live just over the county boundary, I work across Washington and Sunderland. With Lee and Adrian I’m proud to be covering Washington West, and we’re already rolling up our sleeves - reporting road and infrastructure repair issues, chasing up grit bins that have been missing for eight years, and talking to residents about the real difference Reform will make.
My priorities are:
• Tackling anti-social behaviour by working with residents, the police and the council to reclaim our streets and make Washington West safer for everyone
• Improving provision for children and young people with better local facilities, activities and support so our kids and teenagers have safe, positive places to go
