Statement to voters
James Hewett (he/him) has called Oxford home since 1990 and has lived in many of the neighbourhoods that make this city so uniquely diverse.
Full statement
For more than 25 years he has worked as a social worker, supporting vulnerable children and their families. He has also volunteered as a grassroots football coach for the past decade. With three teenagers attending local schools, James feels strongly connected to the city and invested in protecting and improving services for all.
A member of the Green Party of England and Wales since 2000, James believes it offers a credible alternative to politics as usual. His priorities include protecting Oxford’s green spaces, restoring clean waterways, and tackling road congestion in ways that work for drivers, cyclists and public transport users alike.
This statement was added by James Hewett, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
