Both of your Conservative borough councillors have stood down. That means you will have two votes in the borough council elections this year.
Cllr Julian Jones, was your first Independent Councillor elected back in 2024. Alex Rowley and I are local people committed to supporting our local communities. Together we are a team of independents.
I live in Bradley, in our ward, and I’m the Chair of the Parish Meeting and I’ve served as an Independent councillor. Alex lives in Oakley, he’s a Parish Councillor and past Chair of Oakley and Deane Parish Council. Together we live in the ward we want to represent.
We are not tied to a national political party telling us how to vote or what to think. We are focused on our communities first and always. These elections are not about national politics, nor are they about the same old political parties that have failed us. We want to be councillors for the place we live and communities we care about.
We are asking you to use your two votes for the both of us, for your independent team. This is about a positive vote for our community.
I’m a public health professional and I am committed to public service. I have worked in health & justice research for over 20 years, research which has contributed towards improving health and reducing crime at the local, regional and national levels.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We are going to knock on as many doors as we can over the next few weeks, we’ve been working all over the ward. From Ellisfield to Bradley, from Dummer to North Waltham. You will have had leaflets from us all year round.
