Catherine has lived and volunteered in Farnham for 18 years, contributing to a wide range of community projects and local organisations.

She chaired the Junior Section of Aldershot and Farnham Hockey Club when it won Farnham Sports Club of the Year in 2018, and in 2020 she received a Services to Farnham Award for her work on local landfill and quarry restoration.
She founded North Farnham Voice in 2020 to give residents a stronger platform for local issues. Catherine has also worked with charities to help establish a vibrant community hub in Upper Hale, which now includes a Family Centre, a Youth Centre opened in 2022, and a Community Centre where she serves as a trustee.
She has supported improvements such as the adoption of FixMyStreet and securing extended leases for youth centres across Surrey, including the one in Upper Hale.
Her priorities include:
• Working with Government to resolve the £4 billion debt West Surrey is inheriting, increasing financial security
• Developing a clear infrastructure plan for schools, water treatment and transport
• Driving efficient, integrated service delivery and reducing waste
