I’ve lived in the Golders Green and Childs Hill area for several years, and I understand the day-to-day pressures residents face — from rising council tax and housing demand to concerns about how well local services are actually delivered.

I’ve worked with children and young people across the borough, and I care deeply about making Childs Hill a place where families feel safe, streets are well maintained, and local services are reliable.

Too often, residents feel the council isn’t focused enough on results. I believe councillors should be judged on simple things: are services improving, is money being spent wisely, and are residents being listened to? That includes cleaner streets, better maintained estates, and making sure residents actually see value from what they pay in council tax.

I strongly support protecting and improving local libraries, which remain vital community spaces for people of all ages.

I studied Ancient History at the University of St Andrews, where I learned how political systems succeed or fail based on the decisions they make. That perspective shapes my approach: practical, careful, and focused on what actually works.

I’m standing to give Childs Hill a clear, accountable voice on the council — focused on delivering better services, sensible spending, and consistent attention to local concerns.
