I am driven by a commitment to making a positive difference and a proven ability to get things done.

I spent six years working closely with communities in Sudan for a British charity, supporting people to come together and develop local, community-led solutions to the devastating impacts of climate change.

Last year, I worked tirelessly during a short by-election campaign to win a seat on Winchester City Council, something many thought was not possible.

The collaborative, listening-based approach I developed in Sudan now guides my work as a councillor. I work with residents in Colden Common and Twyford to help shape local priorities and build a more resilient future. I am keen to bring this same community-first approach to communities across Bishop’s Waltham and the Upper Meon Valley, giving more people a stronger voice to drive local change.

Over the past year, it has been rewarding to work alongside local campaigners to push for better bus services, better housing, safer roads, and improved travel for cyclists and mobility users, while holding river polluters to account. However, much of the decision-making power sits with Hampshire County Council. That is why I am standing to have a greater influence on the decisions that affect our community.
