We live in the area we seek to represent, and we care deeply about its future. We became involved through everyday local issues - changes to streets, transport and parking - where many residents felt decisions were being made without our voices being heard or properly considered.

Like others locally, we engaged with meetings and consultations, but too often it felt as though outcomes were decided in advance. Over time, it became clear that borough-wide priorities and party lines were frequently taking precedence over what works best for Alexandra Park ward.

We believe our neighbourhood deserves councillors whose first responsibility is to their community, not to party structures. That is why we are standing as Independents - free to question proposals, challenge poor decisions, and put Alexandra Park residents first.

We are standing as independent candidates focused on everyday issues in our area:

• Protect local parking against further expansion of CPZs
• Support balanced transport policies that work for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike
• Safer streets, repaired roads and pavements, and better lighting
• Push for step-free access at Alexandra Palace Station
• Protect Alexandra Park Library from cuts
• Protect Pinkham Way green space
• No to building over Muswell Hill car parks
• Ensure transparency and accountability in the Council’s decision-making processes

Realistic promise: We can’t fix it all but we will speak up for residents, ask difficult questions, challenge decisions that do not stand up to scrutiny, and make the voices of our neighbourhood heard where it matters.
