Full statement
He now lives with his wife, three teenagers, a grown-up nephew, his stepmother in her eighties and two dogs, giving him first-hand experience of the wide range of local interests and community services in the area. Ten years ago he helped grow the 118-118 business from his bedroom to becoming CEO of five European companies, and now works as a consultant, regularly using the Tube, buses and walking to meetings, which keeps him aware of the importance of strong public transport links and thriving local businesses.
