Many know me as “Walking Marky,” and you may have seen my advocacy on social media where I have been campaigning tirelessly to highlight that our cycle lanes are constantly full of cars. Our streets must be safe for everyone—especially our children and cyclists.
My journey began by fighting for safer conditions outside the Infant School at the Grove. Since then, I have successfully reported drivers for over 1,000 traffic offences across West Ealing and Ealing Broadway. My work proves that we can all make a difference if we just put in a little bit of effort; local vigilance creates real change.
I stand for transparency. I successfully fought a Community Protection Notice used to stifle my safety reports, and I will always defend our right to speak out against incompetence. As your Green Party candidate, I will ensure our streets are safe and that your voice is the priority.
My Pledges:
Zero Tolerance, Positive Enforcement: Strict action against those who park or drive dangerously around our schools.
Clear Cycle Lanes: Ensuring infrastructure is used correctly, not for illegal parking.
Accountability: A Council that finally listens and acts.
