I live in Kippax and I'm currently a councillor on Kippax Parish Council, so I know how local government works but I'm not a career politician, and I never want to be. I'm just someone who loves this area, who's been out on the doorsteps speaking with people for the last year and who has heard the same thing again and again: we feel forgotten and we need change.

The Conservatives ran this country for 14 straight years, and Labour have run Kippax and Methley for the last few decades unopposed. They are not doing the job they once did. The potholes, our green spaces under threat, the fact that they've taken Leeds City Council into £2.6 billion of debt - these aren't small things. They're impacting our daily life here, they are getting worse, and they've been neglected for too long by people who assumed your vote was already in the bag.

We're the only people with a proper plan to fix Leeds City Council and protect Kippax + Methley. I bring a decade of professional experience outside of politics, policies, fresh eyes, and the energy to turn things around and bring some hope back.

On Thursday 7th May, I'm asking for your vote. Not out of habit, not because that's just the way we've always voted, but because you genuinely deserve something different. You deserve someone that can get the potholes fixed, stop the overdevelopment in our villages, get council tax down, and fix the mess that we're in.
