Statement to voters
My name is Will.
Full statement
I am a teacher at a local school and am passionate about education, opportunities for young people (as one of the younger candidates myself) and bringing more investment into the town. I am standing for the first time because I want people across our community to feel represented and listened to.
My key pledges:
- Doorknocking all year round and holding monthly in-person surgeries.
- Ensuring development is done properly - with infrastructure in first and not on sites that increase flood risk.
- Keeping our council local and preserving our identity in the new unitary councils.
This statement was added by William Deacon, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
