My name is Danni and I’m standing as the Green Party candidate for Egham.

I’ve got over 100 years of family history in Egham but also went to Strodes College and RHUL so I understand better than most how to balance the conflicting needs of residents and students.

I spent 5 years working as a family support worker here in Runnymede — so there’s a good chance I’ve crossed paths with many of you already in that role helping to navigate EHCPs, housing, finances or life after separation or domestic abuse.

Prior to this I have worked as an SEN teacher to children with social emotional and mental health needs, focussing on students with EBSNA.

I have run intervention projects in partnership with YOT and social services using judo as well as Princes Trust “TEAM” program.

I have also worked as a job coach across the new “West Surrey” helping people overcome barriers to work such as poor health, caring responsibilities and criminal records.

I now live “on the other side of the tracks”, which means I get the daily joy of the railway crossing — so I promise I’m very grounded in the realities of local life! 🚂😤

I care about keeping Egham a great place for families — and I believe in a bit more hope, a bit less hate, and actually listening to people.
