Statement to voters

I was brought up on the Hearsey Gardens estate in Blackwater.

Full statement

My family moved there in 1970 and my mum is still there today.
I attended Frogmore Infants, Potley Hill Juniors and on occasion Frogmore Comprehensive school. I’ve lived in Essex for the last 20 years, where I was active in the local Labour Party.

When I returned to my home town a year ago. I decided that the Labour Party no longer reflected my views on the environment, fair taxation, attitudes to the far-right and the failure to tackle the cost of living crisis.

I’m a small business owner, working in fire protection. Outside of work I enjoy long cycle rides and following a once great London based football club. I’m looking forward to assisting the Green Party in growing into a real alternative to the failed politics of the last 50 years.
