Statement to voters
Too many voices in our ward go unheard.
Full statement
The average resident spends half their income on rent, yet private and social rents continue to rise. Taylor Wimpey will make £420 million in profits while building luxury apartments in our ward that no-one can afford. Thames Water reported a £328 million profit in the first half of 2025/26, as the Greenwich Pumping Station regularly discharges sewage.
I’m tired of being told what’s “best” by people who have made money buying our houses and our water, while those same people ignore minority groups, rent out third, fourth or fifth homes, and enforce inaction. Enough is enough.
