He truly understands about the challenges Moreton Hall and Eastgate face - from the pressures on our GP surgeries and pharmacies, to cost-of living pressures for residents and businesses, to the range of problems on our roads.

With the changes to the boundaries bringing Rushbrooke with Rougham into this ward for the first time, Andy is also committed to ensuring that the voices and priorities for these villages are not forgotten and are heard just as much as those in the rest of the ward.

Andy will be a strong voice fighting for sustainable funding for our local health
services to balance new houses and our fair share of funding to fix the problems on
our roads - from potholes, to issues with parking and HGVs, to better bus services. Andy will keep fighting for a solution to the Royal Mail parking saga and wants to see improved accountability when it comes to potholes and pavement defects - why are some potholes investigated in two days, whilst multiple ones in Rougham go over a month without seemingly even being investigated?

As the Vice-Chair of the Moreton Hall and Eastgate Residents Association, he has
worked with fellow committee members, residents, councils, schools, police and businesses to tackle many issues: such as:

• Parking around the Royal Mail depot
• Tackling anti-social behaviour
• Road safety around our primary schools.
• Proposals to make Barton Road one-way only as part of active travel plans
• A lack of investment in local health services in planning applications for new homes

Andy’s priority is to continue to be a visible, vocal champion for you. From councillor
clinics, to visiting community groups and businesses, to regular updates – he does not want people having to ask “Who is our councillor?”
