On May 7th, I am standing as an independent candidate in the Eynesbury ward for both the Town Council and District Council.

I’ve lived in St Neots and have grown up here since I was 5. In the past few years I have volunteered as part of our St Neots Youth Council, working on ways in which support for young people can be improved in the town.

Examples of some of this work include:

• Helping to run youth events and services across the town
• Carrying out Intergenerational projects such as at Henbrook House
• Advocating for and recently helping to secure funding for a dedicated Youth Building in the town

As an independent my decisions will be shaped by the people that I represent not by the views of those in Westminster. My focus will be on representing the best interests of Eynesbury residents, listening to your concerns and speaking up for the things that are actually important to you.

As a town and district councillor I will be:

✅ Supporting ‘Option E’ of local government reform that gives Huntingdonshire and St Neots a stronger voice with its own council, as opposed to being combined with Peterborough, which could lead to higher council tax and worse outcomes for our residents
✅ A leading voice in the delivery of the designated Youth Building in St Neots
✅ Advocating for a ‘St Neots East’ station on the East-West Rail line

As well and working with the County Council to:

✅ Deal with parking issues in Eynesbury
✅ Fix the potholes plaguing our drivers
