Statement to voters
I have lived in Barrow for 43 yrs .

I worked in the Brewery and property businesses from 1968 starting at Greene King & Sons plc in 1983. I was voted in as a St Edmundsbury Borough Council in 2003, voted in as Mayor in 2010 continued as District Councillor for West Suffolk in 2019 to date, joining Reform UK in January 2024.
Within the Councils I have held the Chair of Audit & Scrutiny, Financial Resilience. Also been a Member of Development Control since 2003 and was Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources.
I am a family man with four children , now with eight grandchildren, all of whom were raised and schooled in the area.
Barrow & Thingoe is a predominantly rural area, I am therefore keen that
1 Our roads and lanes are fit for purpose for residents, businesses and farmers alike
2 Villages need good community centres and will assist to have these maintained and modernised.
3 Resolving to ensure that when development happen they respect the historical settings of the villages and these villages do not coalesce with nearbt towns
