I am a local NHS community nurse and work within varied roles within the NHS, serving the whole of Salford and surrounding areas at home and in the hospital.

I want to see the community that I work in thriving and making real change that is right for the people of Swinton and Wardley.

I volunteer for the charity Two Brews when I am able to fit some time in and work with them on outreach in the city centre which is something I am very passionate about.

My recent pivot in to standing as a council candidate was looking at the world, then our country and then Salford and asking how can I help make a difference? If not now, when? And if not me, then who?

As a nurse I am very adept at talking to people and explaining things with a kind and caring manner. I am confident talking to anyone, personable and relatable and know most of the families in my area either from passing them in the street or caring for them or family members.

I will work hard on local issues such as the state of our roads, crime reduction and supporting our young people. By working together to create a safer place to live, we will ensure that as a community we can all thrive.

I believe in honesty and transparency, and my life and background have given me real, practical experience of listening to people, solving problems and making the most responsible decisions in the best interests of people. The residents of Swinton and Wardley deserve a councillor who is visible, approachable and someone who is willing to stand up for their needs.

I would like the chance to be your local councillor and represent Swinton and Wardley to the best of my abilities to ensure that the Salford that we know and love is not lost. I care deeply about the people of Salford and would love the opportunity to represent your interests and needs.
