He has held senior policy and commercial roles in public transport, most recently serving as Head of Policy – New Services at Transport for London. His background spans transport, regulation, procurement, commercial strategy and public accountability.

A Chiswick Riverside resident, Rick is campaigning for cleaner air, safer streets, better local services and councillors who are visible, responsive and rooted in the community.

Rick Rowe said:
“Local people deserve councillors who know the area, listen properly and are prepared to stand up for residents.

I’m standing because I believe Chiswick Riverside wants something better: honest local leadership, practical action and representatives who will work hard for the community every day. My career has been spent in demanding public service and policy roles, helping deliver change and dealing seriously with complex challenges. I want to bring that same commitment, energy and focus to serving local people here in Chiswick Riverside.”

Rick’s selection comes as Chiswick Riverside emerges as one of the key battleground wards in Hounslow. PollCheck’s current ward-level projection lists the ward as a battleground, with Green ahead of Conservative by 2.2 percentage points, while its borough-wide projection suggests the Greens could make significant gains across Hounslow.

With the campaign now under way, Rick and local Green Party campaigners will be out across Chiswick Riverside meeting residents, listening to concerns and making the case for a fresh, hopeful and hardworking Green voice on Hounslow Council.
