Sapphire is the founder and trustee of a registered charity supporting disabled children and their families. Informed by lived experience—with Sapphire’s own child being the inspiration behind the charity’s formation—this work is grounded in a first‑hand understanding of the challenges families face when navigating services, accessing support, and understanding rights and entitlements. The charity’s work focuses on reducing barriers, improving access, and ensuring families are supported in a fair, informed, and respectful way.

In addition, Sapphire is the founder and trustee of a foodbank supporting elderly people, individuals experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, and low‑income families. Through this role, Sapphire has helped deliver practical support to some of the borough’s most vulnerable residents, while ensuring services operate within appropriate safeguarding, regulatory, and governance frameworks. This work has strengthened local partnerships and contributed to more consistent and accountable community support.
