I'll get things done for local residents, for more than two decades I’ve worked at the heart of Government, including in Health, Defence (housing), and the National Crime Agency, where cutting through bureaucracy is essential, I know how to fix problems and deliver outcomes that matter.

Purley Oaks and Riddlesdown is blessed with beautiful green spaces, excellent schools and a strong local business community. But residents also face challenges from persistent fly tipping around Riddlesdown and Sanderstead Station Parade, to anti social behaviour and increasing rat running through residential streets.

As a councillor, I would focus on these day to day issues: keeping our neighbourhood clean and safe, working with enforcement teams, and making sure residents’ concerns are acted on. I want to champion the area’s potential supporting independent businesses, pop-up shops and exploring opportunities for creative spaces. But this can only succeed as part of a joined up plan for the whole of Croydon, where local voices shape local priorities. Which is why I am proud to support Rowenna Davis as candidate for Croydon Mayor. Rowenna has a fantastic manifesto which can deliver real change and hope for Croydon.

A great councillor gets things done and solves problems for their community. The public sector can often be confusing and bureaucratic. I know what needs to be done to make things happen.
