Why Vote Green?
A Fairer Housing Market: We believe everyone deserves a safe, secure, and affordable place to call home. Our "Fairer, Greener Homes Guarantee" pushes for 150,000 new social homes a year, local rent controls to keep prices fair, and an end to no-fault evictions.

Restoring Our Local Environment: From protecting the Green Belt to tackling the sewage crisis, Greens are the only ones committed to a Rights of Nature Act. We advocate for taking water companies back into public ownership to ensure our rivers and coastlines are clean and protected for future generations.

Funding Our Vital Services: Years of underfunding have left local councils struggling. The Green Party is calling for a £5 billion annual increase in local government funding to secure the future of our social care, youth services, and community spaces.

Action on the Climate Emergency: We don't just talk about the climate; we act. By investing in the transition to a zero-carbon economy at the local level, we can create green jobs, lower energy bills through home insulation, and improve public transport for everyone.
