I am putting myself forward because I believe our community deserves practical solutions, honest representation, and a stronger voice in the decisions that affect our daily lives.
One of my key priorities is improving how local planning decisions are made. Too often, developments move forward without proper consideration of infrastructure, community impact, or residents’ concerns. I would like for our green and historic area of Milton Keynes have a more common sense approach to planning so it is fair, transparent, and genuinely reflects the needs of all the people who live here in our area, Little Brickhill, Bow Brickhill, Woburn Sands and some of our newer areas that have been developed without adequate infrastructure investment.
Transport is another MAJOR issue facing our area. With changes to the RAILWAY , the ROADS, increasing pressure on stations such as Woburn Sands and Brickhill, and our village roads, we need better coordination, accessibility, and long-term thinking. I will push for improvements that make commuting easier, safer, and more reliable for everyone.
Our roads are also in urgent need of attention. Potholes are more than just a nuisance—they are a safety hazard and a cost burden for drivers. I will advocate for more consistent maintenance and faster repairs to keep our roads in proper condition.
Access to healthcare is a growing concern. Many residents are struggling to secure timely GP appointments or find NHS dentists. I will work with local authorities and health providers to improve access and ensure that basic healthcare services are available when people need them.
Safer streets for our youth and opportunities for our younger generations.
Finally, I am committed to supporting families and young people through better school placements and opportunities. Every child deserves access to a good education close to home, and every resident should have the chance to build a secure future.
