I value fairness, empathy, and critical thinking, and I try to approach decisions with both evidence and compassion. I try to remain particularly aware of people who may feel overlooked or unheard, and I believe politics should work for everyone, not just a few. I’m always open to learning and improving my views.

Campaign Priorities
Environment

I believe in carrot over stick, when it comes the enviornment. This means making it easier for people to choose sustainable options in their everyday lives.

This would include improving access to green and nature-friendly alternatives, and making walking and cycling safer and more practical. Issues such as bike theft, poor lighting, and uneven paths discourage people from choosing healthier and more sustainable ways of getting around. I want to focus on addressing these barriers so more people feel confident when traveling through our town.

I volunteer with food distribution, where I see firsthand how much good food goes to waste. At a time of rising living costs, environmental challenges, and public health concerns, reducing food waste and improving access to healthy food is essential. I believe local politicians should focus more on connecting surplus food with the people who need it.

Supporting Local Businesses

Small and local businesses are an important part of our community and create many local jobs. I want to make it easier to start and run a business by simplifying permits and reducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

I will work to support local entrepreneurship and ensure that the municipality is accessible and responsive to business owners. I also want to encourage diverse business ownership, so more people have the opportunity to succeed and contribute to our local economy.

Keeping local infrastructure like roads, bike paths and parks useable and safe.

I moved to Milton Keynes from Denmark in June 2025. Milton Keynes is a beautiful place, but parts of it are being neglected.

As an avid runner and cyclist, I’ve seen firsthand how some of our roads, redways, and open spaces are not being properly maintained. I believe we can and should take better care of the places we all rely on every day.
