We’ve protected what makes MK special. While others talk about cuts, Labour has stood up for our leisure centres, sports facilities, libraries, parks and cultural spaces — because we know they’re not “nice to have”, they’re the heart of our communities. They keep us healthy, bring us together, and give our kids opportunities to thrive.

This year’s manifesto is our best yet. It’s practical, ambitious, and built on what you’ve told us matters: safe neighbourhoods, affordable homes, good local jobs, and protecting the green spaces and services we all rely on. We’re backing grassroots sport, investing in culture, and making sure leisure stays accessible for every family, not just a few.

I’m James Lancaster, and I’m standing with Milton Keynes Labour to keep delivering. We’ve shown what we can do on the council — protecting services when others wouldn’t, listening to residents, and planning for MK’s future instead of short-term fixes.
