Statement to voters
I’m a North West-born artist and community organiser with Nigerian roots, now rooted in Northenden for nearly nine of my 21 years in Manchester.

My work centres on bringing people together; championing those too often pushed to the margins, helping communities find their voice. I’m co-director of Rainbow Noir, have worked across film and TV, served on the Contact Theatre board, and delivered cultural competency training for the NHS, Home Office, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Fire and Rescue Service. I can influence decision-makers, but I’m still someone you could have a pint with at The Farmer’s.
After serving as a member of Youth Parliament in my teens I swore off party politics for good, let down by a system built for and by the few.
The Green Party changed that. I’m standing because Northenden deserves practical, hopeful, community-rooted politics that turns our differences into strengths.
