Statement to voters

Alfie Stokes - Reform UK

I stand in Bromley Common & Holwood to serve the community, to protect what we value, and to ensure fair and proper representation across the ward.

Full statement

As a long-time resident, I care about keeping Bromley Common & Holwood a safe, welcoming place to live, work, and raise a family.

I have proudly served our community for many years, beginning at a young age as a volunteer police cadet. I went on to become a police officer with the Metropolitan Police Service, specialising in Roads and Transport Policing. My broader experience also includes youth policing, with the Volunteer Police Cadets, Safer Neighbourhoods, and Counter Terrorism.

Following my policing career, I continued serving locally in education as a Head of Year, later becoming a Child Protection & Safeguarding Lead. Supporting families and children with special educational needs. Regularly holding agencies to account to ensure vulnerable young people received the support they need.

From day one, my three priorities are clear:

Protecting our Green Belt and open spaces:
I will stand firm against overdevelopment and work to preserve the character, biodiversity, and natural beauty of Bromley.

Improving our roads and road safety:
I will push for higher standards in road maintenance, ensure roadworks are better managed to reduce disruption, and lead targeted campaigns to tackle speeding and improve safety in our neighbourhoods.

Tackling anti-social behaviour and strengthening public safety:
With my background in policing, I understand how to get results. I will work closely with our Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and local partners to reduce crime and make our streets safer.

On May 7th, vote for all three Reform UK candidates in Bromley Common & Holwood if you want to see practical, common-sense change on Bromley Council.
