Statement to voters
This is my first time standing as a candidate but don’t be put off.

I simply couldn’t keep watching what’s happening in this country without doing something about it. I can’t remember a time when people were more skint, yet we have more billionaires than ever! We must address this cost-of-living crisis which is leading to increases in crime and anti-social behaviour in Portsmouth. As a business owner, I know we must support local businesses and start-ups.
And we must clean up our city in every meaning of the word – ending fly-tipping, reducing air pollution, and providing real support for people experiencing homelessness. I’m also determined to hold Southern Water to account for years of pollution, and with a proven background in campaigning I quite fancy our chances.
Portsmouth is my home. I care deeply about this City and the people who live here.
