My family is here, my children grew up here, and my grandchildren are growing up here now. When I talk about safer streets and services that actually work, it's not campaign language - it's a question about the town my grandchildren will inherit.

26 years here is long enough to see how Swindon has changed - both ways. Antisocial behaviour has crept up. Council tax goes up every year while services don't. Potholes outlast the seasons. The town centre after 8pm is not somewhere most residents want to be.

My career has been in IT and finance, working with banks and technology companies in international markets. That means specific skills: reading budgets properly, spotting inefficiency, managing large contracts, and holding suppliers to account. These are standards Swindon Borough Council needs at least as much as any commercial business does.

My priorities as a councillor for Kingshill:

• Safer streets - real action on antisocial behaviour and visible patrols in the town centre, not just reports about plans for reports.
• Council finances - an honest audit of where residents' money actually goes. If the answer isn't clear, that itself is the problem.
• Roads and basic services - a pothole shouldn't survive a full year.
• A real voice for residents in Civic Offices, not just for Labour group insiders.

Reform UK is the only party today willing to cut through bureaucracy and demand answers from those spending your money. I'm asking for your vote on 7 May to bring those standards into the Council Chamber.
