Hello, I’m Tahir Ahmad, and I’m standing as your Green Party candidate for the Frimley Green and Mytchett ward.

I’m standing because I believe politics should be about genuine servitude and being just to people. I, as a practice, strongly believe in establishing accessible mechanisms to listen carefully to residents' needs and issues, and subsequently working hard to improve everyday life in our community.

My priorities are simple and rooted in the issues I hear about most from local families.

• Supporting underprivileged residents who are struggling with the rising cost of living
• Creating better opportunities for young people, particularly tackling youth unemployment and helping them build a positive future
• Ensuring children with SEND receive the support they deserve, so that families are not left fighting the system alone
• Improving care and dignity for the elderly, making sure older residents can live safely and comfortably in our community

I have spent much of my life working with charities and community organisations, and I care deeply about fairness, compassion, and practical solutions that improve people’s lives.

If elected, I will work hard to ensure our ward:

• Protects and strengthens its local community spirit
• Supports families facing financial pressure
• Gives young people real opportunities
• Provides proper support for vulnerable residents

As part of the Green Party, I will listen, represent your concerns honestly, and do my best to make Frimley Green and Mytchett an even better place to live for all of us.
