Harrison is a local resident, teacher and business owner with a lifelong passion for conservation.

He has said:
“Woking needs a fresh start, led by people with an uncompromising commitment to the area. We face a severe fiscal crisis, which the amalgamated West Surrey unitary authority will inherit... We can improve our general financial situation by innovating and modernising how things are run. Here are some of the ways a Green council might look to accomplish this:
- Use Community Municipal Investment to fund local projects.
- Bring highways maintenance in-house, instead of paying contractors to do quick patch jobs on potholes.
- Invest in local, person-centred social care, focusing on prevention and early intervention.
- Take SEND access seriously at the outset, so that money goes to helping children, instead of to fighting and losing lawsuits."
