I believe in building a fairer, cleaner, and more compassionate Bradford — a place where community, creativity, and sustainability come together to shape our future. The Green Party’s values reflect my own belief that politics should serve people and the planet, not profit or power.

As someone who has lived, worked, and volunteered across Bradford, I’ve seen both the challenges our city faces and the outstanding people who make the city tick. I’ve been involved with the Green Party through campaigning and leafleting, and as an organiser for the Bradford Young Greens. These experiences have shown me how grassroots action can bring real change — from engaging new voters to supporting local campaigns that give residents a voice in decisions that affect their lives.

Through my background in the creative sector I have been blessed with unique perspectives. Producing and directing a documentary about artists in West Yorkshire taught me how important culture and storytelling are in building identity and community pride. Through volunteering with organisations like Pictureville Cinema and Fashion Fiesta CIC, I’ve supported local projects that bring people together and promote inclusion and opportunity.

As an elected representative, I will focus on improving local wellbeing, supporting sustainable transport, and protecting our green spaces. I want to contribute to making Bradford a city where every resident — regardless of background — can thrive in a safe, affordable, and environmentally responsible community. I am committed to listening, learning, and working collaboratively with residents, campaigners, and fellow councillors to make that happen.

Standing for the Green Party isn’t just about winning an election for me — it’s about being part of a movement that puts integrity, care, and sustainability at the heart of everything we do. I am ready to represent the people of Bradford with honesty, energy, and a clear vision for a greener future.
