I have lived in the Ward for the last 5 years, and have lived in the Southend area my entire life.

I am brand new to politics and just want to see Southend become a safer, nicer place to live.

I have a young family and am really passionate about improving our local area and supporting my neighbours.

I will represent our area against the destruction of the nearby Green Belt land. There is no chance this project will include the required infrastructure improvements. I will also stand against the HMOs that seem to be creeping further and further from the town centre, commonly bringing anti-social behaviour with them.

The Labour administration of Southend City Council has dragged Southend down for too long, with wasteful projects like 'Better Queensway' and zero support for residents and local businesses. Their only priority seems to be increasing their income and cutting the services they should be providing.

I have been unfortunate enough to experience the incompetence of this Council too many times. Even having a dropped kerb installed is a year long saga costing thousands of pounds.

All we need from our local Council is for them to charge as little tax as possible, and at least provide the very basic services they should be providing. We can't allow them to continue failing on both counts.

Together I am confident we can improve Southend. I will work tirelessly to do all I can for you.
