Statement to voters
I am asking for your support for the next four years.
Full statement
My family and I have lived in Finchampstead for the past 6 years and in the local area since 2017. Given I am putting myself forward as a candidate to improve Finchampstead and Wokingham, should I be elected, I will donate 100% of my councillor’s allowance to local charities in the Finchampstead area.
What I Will Fight For
• Local people first for housing — if you’ve been on the waiting list in Finchampstead, you should be prioritised over people moving into the area. Our residents have paid into the system and they should come first.
• Your community, your say — major decisions that affect Finchampstead should involve local residents. Whether it’s the Borough becoming a preferred destination for asylum seekers, significant developments, or changes to local services — you should have a say before decisions are made, not after.
• Education that delivers — aiming for high standards in our infant, junior, primary and secondary schools. Making sure there are enough places, enough teachers, and enough teaching assistants.
• Reform UK is the only party serious about changing direction. Locally, I want to bring the same Reform UK commonsense, no-nonsense approach to Wokingham Borough Council.
It Is Your Choice
Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you have any questions or local issues you’d like to raise, I would genuinely welcome hearing from you.
