Dear Resident
I am asking for your vote on May 7th to save the Westborough ward.

My name is Ben Aldridge and I am your Reform councillor candidate for Westborough.
As a former police officer with 15+ years’ service in community policing, Southend is broken. We cannot allow the current status quo to continue.
I’m a father of two, employed locally and use to love Southend and be proud to live here. I want that feeling back and for my children to be proud of the place they grow up in. Not having to step over fly tipped rubbish on the walk to school. Not having to hope Dad avoids the pothole when we go out for a drive, as we cant afford to fix the car or buy a new tyre. Not having to hope the library is open as its Saturday and they don’t have the staff.I am new to the political world and never felt I belonged but Reform aligned so strongly with my beliefs and the changing shift in UK politics I felt I had to do something. Not for me, but for the future generations.
The plans this city has to build on green belt land, which Reform will oppose and the amount of HMO’s I’ve seen just in this area, cannot continue. Our services are at breaking point and Southend is full.
Join me in the fight to bring hope back. Southend needs Reform.
