I have lived in this ward for years and I love it! Its energy, its community, and its wonderful mix of cultures. As Secretary of my Residents' Association, I know first-hand how frustrating it can be when basic problems go unfixed and residents feel unheard.
As a communications professional with experience in UK–EU policy work, I know how to cut through complexity and get things done. I will bring that same determination to this role.

My priorities:

• Women's safety: I want every resident, particularly women, to be able to move around this area with confidence at any time of day or night
• Safer streets: better lighting, regular walkabouts with police and council teams, and clear ways for residents to report issues and track progress
• Decent homes: quicker repairs, tougher action on damp and mould, and proper support for tenants and leaseholders

Labour has had twelve years to get this right. It is time for change.
