I've lived in this area for 18 years and it genuinely feels like home. That's not just sentiment, I've served as a Parish Chairman, helped found a local youth group, and spent nearly two decades watching this community grow and change. I care about it deeply, and I understand it in a way that only comes from being part of it.

Professionally, I work as a Senior Product Manager for a sustainability-focused construction tech company in London which means I spend my days thinking about how the built environment can do less harm and more good. It's given me a practical, grounded understanding of what "sustainable development" actually means beyond the buzzword.

Wealden is a district of real natural beauty, but like so many areas it faces growing pressures; housing developments that stretch infrastructure, congestion, and the slow erosion of green spaces that make this part of East Sussex worth living in. At county level, decisions about transport, waste, planning, and social care shape daily life in ways that often go unnoticed until things go wrong.

As your Green candidate, I want to see East Sussex County Council take the climate emergency seriously not just in words but in policy. That means investing in public transport, protecting green corridors, and ensuring new development is genuinely sustainable.
