Mish is standing as the Green Party candidate for Paddock to represent the residents of Paddock because he recognises that locally things are no longer working for ordinary people.

After years of cuts to local services and rising council tax,residents are paying more while getting less in return.

Streets are dirtier, housing repairs take longer, support services are stretched. People are ignored once the election is over.

Mish believes this isn’t inevitable, it's the result of political choices. Labour and Conservative councillors argue over blame while Reform exploits that anger, building hate and division. Meanwhile, local residents are left dealing with the consequences.

Mish believes local politics has to be done differently. That means being visible, accessible and accountable, not disappearing and then reappearing at election time. If elected, he will hold regular street surgeries and open meetings, publish updates on what’s being done, and make it clear that residents don’t need connections or favours to be heard.

As a Green councillor, Mish will oppose cuts that hit our communities hardest and push for investment in services people rely on from housing and waste collection to community cohesion and support for local people. Being Green means refusing to accept cuts as normal and putting local people first.

Mish’s politics are simple: challenge inequality, stand up to unfair cuts, and make sure the council works for the people it serves.

His commitment to Paddock is to be present, to listen and to fight for a fairer Walsall where residents aren't overlooked and ignored.
