Every day, I meet residents who are struggling — whether it’s accessing NHS services, dealing with poor housing conditions, or simply trying to be heard by the Council.

Ponders End is a strong and diverse community, but too many people feel forgotten. Basic issues like street cleanliness, fly-tipping, and slow repairs are not being taken seriously. Residents in council housing often feel they have no voice — and that must change.

As a healthcare professional, I see first-hand the impact of inequality, pollution, and poor living conditions on people’s health. Cleaner air, safer streets, and better local services are not luxuries — they are essential.

I am standing for the Green Party because we believe in fairness, transparency, and putting people before profit. I will work to:

Improve communication between the Council and residents
Tackle fly-tipping and keep our streets clean
Push for better housing standards and faster repairs
Support safer streets for families, women, and young people
Strengthen local NHS and community services
Most importantly, I will listen. This community deserves a councillor who is present, accessible, and truly on your side.
