Statement to voters
Tahir Aziz lives and works in Woking, where he runs his own mortgage advice and property management company. He is an experienced councillor, having worked for residents for seven years and Leader of the Labour Group in Woking Borough Council. As a member of the Planning Committee, he has consistently stood up for the rights of residents, campaigning for affordable homes and against overdevelopment of the town centre. He has also proposed reform of Woking Borough Council’s debt collection practices, campaigning for reduced use of bailiffs.
