I moved to Enfield almost 8 years ago, having worked at the Chase Farm Hospital Re-Development, where I fell in love with the area and thought it was a perfect mixture of close community, amazing history, easy commuting distance to central London and great schools, not to mention the abundance of green space.

Enfield has a lot going for it and I feel it is an unsung gem of North London that needs its profile boosting.
I've noticed the stark contrast in funding and facilities between the areas to the East of the A10 and those to the West and feel Bullsmoor is chronically underfunded, which can be seen by the lack of investment in the parks and communal spaces especially the children's play areas in the Dendridge, Elsinge and Turkey Street Park.

Similarly, the apparent lack of interest of the improving the road safety of Turkey Street and Hertford Road which sees numerous RTA’s and fatalities is astonishing, this will be high on my agenda to address, as well as campaigning for a more frequent service along the Weaver Line, a plan to clear up the rubbish-filled Turkey brook and tackle the lack of investment in sustainable housing developments that actually live up to their ‘Green’ credentials such as delivering the biodiversity net gain, that is a condition for planning permision.
