I have had a varied work life: I was an eye doctor for quite a few years, did cancer research while I was at university, was a psychotherapist for young people and a computer specialist for Intel and NASA.

I moved to Winnersh from Bracknell 16 years ago with my spouse, two cats and a rescue dog and I love it!

Winnersh is friendly, safe, clean, green and quiet. With lots of places to walk and enjoy, including Winnersh Meadows nearby Dinton Pastures. I can often be seen walking my dog in various places in Winnersh.

My council role is with the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service. Helping them reduce chemical exposures after they get back to the fire station and provide better accommodations for firefighters that could encourage a more diverse workforce.

I’ve been a Parish councillor for 13 years and a Borough councillor for the past 12 years where I’ve served on the planning committee for 12 years and various other committees . Winnersh comes first in my actions, and I want to continue working with the Lib Dems to the best and most family friendly it can be.
