Statement to voters
I’m proud to call Worthing home.
Full statement
After moving here two years ago, I quickly fell in love with this town, its people, and its potential. As a married woman working in the railway, I understand the importance of reliable services, strong communities, and being listened to.
I’m standing because I want to make Worthing even better, for everyone who lives here.
I am a fierce campaigner for clean waterways. The ongoing dumping of sewage into our sea is unacceptable. Water companies must be held accountable, and their profits should be reinvested into upgrading infrastructure—not lining pockets while our environment suffers.
I also care deeply about our local economy. Worthing thrives when independent businesses thrive. I want to support small, local enterprises and bring more life back to our high streets.
Community matters. Worthing should be a place where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected. I stand firmly against racism and homophobia and will always champion equality and inclusion.
Beyond politics, I’m passionate about music and the role it plays in bringing people together. I want to see more opportunities for young people in Worthing to access, learn, and enjoy music, because every young person deserves a creative outlet and a sense of belonging.
I’m not just someone who lives in Worthing. I’m someone who wants to fight for it
